Argyle is usually a fall/winter pattern used on light to heavy sweaters. I myself like them in different colors on my casual/dress socks; and on ties. I don’t know if you do; but I sometimes wonder where a pattern came from; or how it came about. I forgot where I first saw information about the argyle sweater; but whether it was on tv or in a GQ magazine somewhere it got me interested.
So I wikipedia it and got some basic information that many of you may or may not know. The argyle pattern originates from tartan of Clan Campbell, of Argyll in western Scotland. Mostly used for golfing in sweaters and socks. Then luxury brand Pringle of Scottland made it fashionable and are said to be the originators of the argyle sweater.
well that’s just a little boring info on the argyle sweater.

Jeans, denim, second layer of skin; what ever you may call it has been a staple in American fashion since Levis were no longer only for work. The evolution of how we wear our denim has evolved dramatically. They have gone from sitting properly at the waist, to on your hips, to the middle of your ass, to damn near the middle of your thighs.
Skin tight, room for three, skinny, to the broad of different fits that are now available today its safe to say that there are a pair of jeans out there for any one who wants a pair. Light wash, dark, raw, faded, holes, no holes, tears, stains, all come in and out of style with jeans just as well.
Although its not very often new creations of denim come around the most recent would be raw denim. That dark pair of denim that is stiff as hell when you first put them on; but as you wear them and rarely ever wash them they start to form to your body; and become extremely comfortable.
I can only imagine where denim will go next. As for me I like my jeans usually dark and hemmed to the right length. I like the way jeans look when they sit at the waist; but from my generation at the hips is where its comfortable for me. So if you have trouble finding the right pair of jeans take this advice; Go to the mall, try a bunch of pairs on, and don’t be cheap. A good pair of jeans will go a long way; and can be a staple in your wardrobe.
